What's the best antivirus for 2011?

I've tried using the paid version of PANDA GLOBAL PROTECTION 2011 but I can't rate it as the best protection for your system because it wasn't able to detect 3 instances of trojan in my laptop although it had one of the best firewall, even better than Comodo, because it can even detect who's sharing your wireless connection! So you can accept or block them from using your wifi (for those subscribers who shared their wifi passwords). Moreover, it fixes vulnerabilities in your system which can be prone to hacker attacks. It downloads latest updates from your OS support website to fix these vulnerabilities. It takes a lot of ram despite its claims that it is Panda cloud, which means everything is done in the the Panda labs cyberspace from scanning your system to downloading updates. It also doesn't allow other spyware protection aside from itself. So I decided to switch to Avira premium version.

Avira is light and also uses the cloud technology. Avira Premium Security Suite removed the trojans and I installed it together with the Malwarebytes free version. Malwarebytes always does a good job in deleting trojans in the registry and wherever it is inside the system. However, the paid version is also good but is blocking a lot of sites even the safe ones. So I recommend Avira, better than Avast Internet Security. Avast also didn't detect any trojan which even the free version of Malwarebytes detected although the GUI of AVAST is eye candy. If you like Avast since its light on resources plus it has a free pack, you can install it together with Malwarebytes.

As for me, I'll stick to AVIRA and MALWAREBYTES. I'm also using the COMODO firewall.
