This episode featured Sesshomaru's mom. Just like Sesshomaru, she appeared cold-hearted, Jaken even described them as "like mother, like son". Sessh' mom was funny because her concern for her son did not show at all nor she harbored any hatred to Inuyasha's dad and human mother; maybe because she did not have distinct emotions. She even described Sessh' behavior towards Rin and Kohaku as odd. Meanwhile, Jaken's lines provided comic relief especially when the mom asked him the reason he was crying; he replied that since his master's nature was not prone to shedding of tears, he would do it for him. What loyalty! Haha. In short, he did all the drama in this episode (I will not tell why).
